Das Projekt «Sieben Tage», besteht aus kurzen Videofilmen und -installation, die je aber auch für sich alleine stehen können. Sie sind nach den Wochentagen benannt. Dies auch darum, weil sie so das Alltägliche und Unspektakuläre der Handlungen betonen.
Bei diesen Videos ist es mir wichtig, den Moment der Verfremdung, der Irritation bewusst herbeizuführen: Ich übernehme die Drehorte, die Kulissen und die Requisiten zum Teil originalgetreu (Aussicht, Klavier, Schlafsaal) und lasse sie dann von Rita Siegfried illusionistisch nachmalen (Trompe-d’œil). Die Szenen drehe ich in Innenräumen mit Schauspielerinnen und Schauspielern.

The project “Seven Days” consists of 6 short video films and installations; each one can stand alone. They are named after the days of the week and emphasize the everyday and unspectacular nature of the actions.
With these videos it is important to consciously focus on the moment of alienation and irritation: I take the locations, the sets and the props partly true to the original (view, piano, dormitory) and then some were illusionistically repainted by Rita Siegfried (trompe-d’oeil). I shoot the scenes indoors with actors and actresses.
